Interference
If your fan turns on and off intermittently, it is most likely experiencing signal interference. The remotes and receivers of fans operate at a specific frequency, and if other signals enter the same frequency, they can cause this erratic behavior.
1. Frequency Interference
Older fan models have micro-switches (or "tabs") on the transmitter and/or receiver to change the operating frequency. If your fan is of this type, we recommend checking the installation manual to confirm if it has these tabs.
You can also check the syncing instructions for the remote.

If your model has these tabs, simply follow the instructions in the manual to change the frequency and avoid interference.
2. Newer Models
For newer models, the operating frequency is preset and designed to avoid interference. However, in some cases, interference may still occur due to external factors, such as other nearby electronic devices.
It is possible that only one fan in your home is experiencing interference, while the others are working fine.
3. Random Desynchronization
At times, the fan may stop working in a random and sporadic manner. This happens when the transmitter and receiver become desynchronized and need to re-pair. This type of desynchronization can also be caused by electrical interference from the power lines at the fan’s installation point.
4. Solution for Electrical Interference
If you suspect that the interference is coming from the electrical installation, we recommend that you check the electrical line with an electrician. They will be able to identify and solve any issues related to the power supply that might be affecting the synchronization of the fan.
