Fan makes noise after installation

Modified on Fri, 24 Jan at 5:50 PM

The noise from your fan could be due to several factors:

 - Motor type.

Fans with AC motors may generate noise during the first 48 hours after installation because they need to be properly lubricated for optimal operation. The motor grease may be cold or dry, causing friction. This will resolve itself after use during the next 48 hours post-installation.

    - Fan assembly.

If the noise starts when the blades begin to spin and continues until the blades stop completely, the noise likely comes from an issue during the fan's assembly.
A quick way to check is to manually turn the blades with the fan off.

⚠️ Make sure to check these 3 assembly points:

1.- The union between the post and the motor, in addition to a pin, has two screws that add rigidity to the installation of the post. These two screws must be tightly secured.
